Works the same way as YouTube links: just copy the URL into the post. Like this:

Hey Yoda, this isn't working for me. Whether I just post the url or use the url tags nothing shows up in the actual post. When I tried just making it a hotlink it the link ended up garbled. Is there another method?

Can you PM me the link you're having an issue with (with some kind of asterisk or change in the beginning to stop it from processing)? If I had to guess, I'd say it's a Twitter mobile link instead of a "normal" one.

I can do that. It may not be necessary though since tweet in your first post here seems to be suffering from the same problem (at least on my end).
