I'm a big fan of horror films. Some of my favourites are The Exorcist, Halloween, The Shining, Suspiria and Frankenstein. I also like a lot of classic films, arthouse and international cinema, although most of the international films I've watched are Middle Eastern. I'm working on that though. I'm 23. I'm Syrian. I love music and philosophy. I'm not sure what else to add so feel free to ask me anything.

Welcome! to MoFo, Rahbani
It's always good to have another poster here. I'm not a fan of horror but I do like classic Hollywood films. I've only seen a few films made in the middle east but I found them interesting. I seen a short film made in Palestine called Make a wish (2006) I really liked it.

Welcome to the site, Rahbani. :)
Which version of Frankenstein is it that you love? Or is it the story more than a particular version?

I haven't seen that one yet. I'll have to check it out sometime.

My favourite version is the 1931 version and I do love the story a lot. I've read the book in both English and Arabic. It just never gets old. :)

I love the Frankenstein story too. For me one of the most emotional Frankenstein films was:
Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (1994) with Kenneth Branagh, Robert De Niro.
There's over 40 films where the Frankenstein's monster has been featured.

Not all of these are a retelling of the Frankenstein story. I'm going to have to watch some of these, one of these days.
