Anything you buy has to be returned in a year... House, car, etc etc.. It's not just what you would buy, but what would you do? What would your average day be like?
Before we get silly, if you eat food, obviously you don't have to puke it up.
You can't buy things for people on this credit card and get cash for it.
How would you spend it? What would you do? (there is a point my inquiries... that will come later)
I would finance a movie. You can have all the equipment back when I'm done :)

I bet I know what your point will be, but I won't spoil you're fun:) so I will message you.
But first to answer your question...which is HARD because if I had to return it all, I'm not sure if I would even bother buying anything.
But if I could spend that million dollars on travel, that's what I would I do for the entire year.

But you wouldn't have the movie, negatives, rights, etc. - everything the million dollars paid for is no longer yours, which I guess technically mean that someone could tamper with it afterwards, BUT... you would have the experience of making it, and you can have the credit as the financie from a financier. Deal?

I look forward to your message!
Can you elaborate on the travel. Where would you go? Where would you stay, what would you do?

It would be an invaluable experience, absolutely. And I wouldn't even have to worry about the marketability of the film, I could do whatever pet project my heart desired.
Not like anyone is going to end up watching the shorts I'm making now anyway. I have like 800 views on youtube

I would take my wife of course! And travel all over the world, first focusing on historical sites. I'd like to see everything from Paris to the Antarctic. A year wouldn't be enough but a million dollars would help! I wouldn't care about grand posh hotels and stuff like that, I'm more into the experiences.

Great decision, Foster. And if you don't mind sharing, could you reply with a link so we can all get a look? I'd love to see them. After all, I am a movie fan.

I'd definitely travel as well.
Any historical sites in mind?
Oh, and have you traveled before?

Thanks! Taking the time to watch is the way to my heart
I created a thread here for my crime thriller series with the youtube link

Taking a little longer than I thought for the other episodes. Few mistakes on my end with scheduling and now my terrorist actor had to return to saudi arabia and is coming back in march.

With or without the million, you're still making them :)

Yeah that's the only one I released publicly.. my first film friend zoned didn't work as well as I planned. It turns out a movie about a girl that doesn't like a guy back just isn't very dramatic.
I only managed to salvage these 10 seconds

I'd buy homes and flip them over and over and over
