At my university, I chose to take an elective course called "The Modern Russian Experience in Film." Here are the films we will be watching:

Adam’s Rib (1990) Vyacheslav Krishtofovich

Tycoon (2002) Pavel Lungin
The Return (2003) Andrei Zvyagintsev
Roads to Koktebel (2003) Boris Khlebnikov & Aleksei Popogrebsky
The Sword Bearer (2006) Filipp Yankovsky
Hipsters (2008) Valery Todorovsky
Lucky for me, it turns out I haven't seen a single one of these films. The only one I've ever even heard of is The Return. So I will be posting my reviews for these films as I watch them. Stay tuned! And let me know if you've seen any and if they are any good.
