View Full Version : Recommending and Reviewing with Sishio
I would like to see one indie movie every week of the year, to review them on an indie blog (I can't post links yet, and I write it in Spanish) where I usually write. I thought that you could know a lot of titles to recommed.
What is an indie movie? Well, I've to admit, I don't know quite well. I've been discussing this films lately:
The Big Lebowski.
Drive.
Tale of Princess Kaguya.
Nebraska.
Her.
The Wind Rises.
Gone Girl.
Boyhood.
So, I'd like that you recommend me 'indie' movies. Then I watch the movie, and discuss with you guys how good or bad was it.
Thanks for the help! :D

Great idea for a thread, I love Indie films. I've reviewed some of them on my review thread. The last one I seen was Ruby Sparks from the directors of Little Miss Sunshine, another fine Indie film.
Take a look at this

Uhum. I watched Ruby Sparks a long, long time ago. I liked the script, but the end was awful.
I mean, he found the SAME girl? I know, maybe it's like a second chance metaphor, but... No, I didn't like it. The one who have to change was him, and he found the same giril... too easy.
So, what do you think about Spring Breakers? I'll watch it on Friday.

Sishio I totally agree with what you said in the spoiler. I had wrote this about the ending of Ruby Sparks on my review thread.I really hated the tact on happy ending with the walk in the park where he meets her. I haven't seen Spring Breakers. From the cover it looks like cheesecake fun...nothing wrong with that.
