2015 NFL Combine and Draft

With the regular season at and end and the post season coming on strong we are ready to start looking forward to the Combine (February 17-23) and the Draft (April 30-May 2). I want to hear who everyone would like to see on their teams and also who everyone thinks would be the best fits wherever else. As always I will be doing a live upload of the first, second and third round as they are announced. The others I will do as well but they will be bulk posts as normal. I would like for a lot of people to be involved this year as there wasn't much involvement last season, but if you don't get in to it I understand as well. :) I will wait to post the majority of my thoughts on the subject after the Super Bowl (Feb. 1). Since it is so close to the date of the combine though, I imagine there will be a few hits on the page here. Lets get the discussion going!

Well, there is Connor Cook. He has been compared to Dan Marino. His stats don't look too bad.

LOL! Combine is next month. It is all just speculation until then. :) Also, the odds are very strong that one of the teams having a bye week going into the Playoffs will lose its first game in the Playoffs. The Seahawks are the team least likely to be upset after their bye, unless of course the Lions upset the Cowboys (which I doubt). Anyway, we'll see what happens.

Yesterday Michigan State CB Trae Waynes stated that he intends to enter the 2015 Draft!

So. Jameis Winston finally stated his intent to enter, as if there were any question, along with FSUs Mario Edwards Junior and WVUs Kevin White. I would love to see White on the Jets squad. He and Geno had great chemistry in college and maybe it would be a boost that Geno needs.

I think that he would be good for the team because of his speed, not to mention that Geno has worked with him in the past at WVU and I think it would make him more comfortable. This guy is projected to do a 4.4 40. I am curious to see if he can do it. I didn't see any Alabama games this season.

Some of the mocks have Kevin White coming off the board before him. I don't know. I just hope the Jets draft an offensive player in the first round. I am sick of D coming off the first round every year. There is a lot of talk of the Jets and the Eagles trading if Mariota is still on the board at 6. I hope that is the case. I don't think that a rookie QB would be the answer that the Jets are looking for.

Almost all the mocks I have looked at have Cooper going to the Raiders. There are a few that have him going to the Jets but most put Mariota with the Jets.

The guys today that were expected to shine certainly did. Mariota ran the 40 in a time that would have made any WR proud, 4.52. Phillip Dorsett was the stand out WR. I hadn't heard of that guy until today, I don't watch much college football, but he did really well.

Yeah really, I doubt any 7th rounder will do more than what Zac Stacy will. I still don't understand why the Rams gave up on him so quickly, he had a great year 2 years ago.

You should be. Fowler will be great, not sure about Yeldon, but he should be able to start right away.

Good news: The Cowboys basically ended up with three first round picks this year, and they only have to pay one guy first round money. I am over the moon about this La'el Collins signing.
