These guys are destroying Hollywood! They are literally dumbing down the audience and draining away all the maturity out of movies that actors like Gene Hackman, Robert De Niro and George Clooney gave it. I say hand them over to Korea (cant provide the source, still new here)

For starters, I don't personally feel that Franco is that bad an actor. Rogen maybe, but Franco is alright in my books. Still wouldn't say hand them over to anyone. The two seemed to be having a feeding frenzy publicizing the movie. It was genius how they used the Sony hack to further enhance movie awareness.

Speaking of Sony, you must know that this isn't the first time that they have been hacked. Yup, its been done before and yes, they still haven't learned. The average joe might say "Well sh*t happens!" but I certainly expected giants like Sony to have better security. Sounds fishy eh? Could this be a marketing ploy?

What's your opinion? Has the Sony hack actually helped the movie grow a fan base?

haha what? I know it might sound far fetched but as a marketing student, I believe the team behind the "The Interview" has handled the Sony hack and the subsequent leak quite well! Am I wrong?

I think this will help the film in most countries. Some people will see want to see it simply to see if North Korea is overreacting, see what all the fuss was about. Maybe even more then before it got all the attention its getting. I don't think anyone will NOT see the movie who had intended to go see it originally.

I have to say this was the first thing I thought of. :D My second thought was that they didn't, but once it happened they made sure everyone knew about it. My third was the N.Korea had little if anything to do with it.

Well I'm not a big fan of Seth Rogan at all - the few movies of his I've seen are mediocre at best, ****** at worst
