"My life fades. The vision dims. All that remains are memories. I remember a time of chaos. Ruined dreams. This wasted land. But most of all, I remember the Road Warrior. The man we called 'Max'. To understand who he was, you have to go back to another time. When the world was powered by the black fuel. And the desert sprouted great cities of pipe and steel. Gone now, swept away. For reasons long forgotten, two mighty warrior tribes went to war and touched off a blaze which engulfed them all. Without fuel, they were nothing. They built a house of straw. The thundering machines sputtered and stopped. Their leaders talked and talked and talked. But nothing could stem the avalanche. Their world crumbled. The cities exploded. A whirlwind of looting, a firestorm of fear. Men began to feed on men. On the roads it was a white line nightmare. Only those mobile enough to scavenge, brutal enough to pillage would survive. The gangs took over the highways, ready to wage war for a tank of juice. And in this maelstrom of decay, ordinary men were battered and smashed. Men like Max. The warrior Max. In the roar of an engine, he lost everything. And became a shell of a man, a burnt out, desolate man, a man haunted by the demons of his past, a man who wandered out into the wasteland. And it was here, in this blighted place, that he learned to live again..."

I haven't seen Shaun of the Dead or Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior, but Rebel Without a Cause is a great movie. It's a shame that James Dean died at such a young age. It's heartbreaking to think about what might have been if he had lived to make more movies.

"Just because I cannot see it, doesn't mean I can't believe it!"
The Nightmare Before Christmas was one of those movies that after the first time I watched it, I couldn't decide if I liked it or not. I knew that I didn't dislike it, but I wasn't sure if I liked it either.
I have since watched it numerous times, and it's become one of my favorite movies.

I recently watched The Lego Movie for the animation list, and I was surprised at how much I liked it. I was expecting a childish movie that was aimed at selling toys to kids, but it was a great movie.

93. Hotel Rwanda (2004)
http://image.toutlecine.com/photos/h/o/t/hotel-rwanda-2004-15-g.jpg
Of all of your movies, Hotel Rwanda is the most impacting on your list. It's NOT a typical Hollywood style 'edge of you seat' thriller. It is riveting and emotionally engaging. A film that I always remember.
From what I know of the events in the Rwanda genocide, the film is true to those events as told from the view point of a person who was there. If people haven't seen this film, they should.

Good start, nice to see a bit of variety in a list. If your user title is anything to go by, we've got some good stuff coming up.
Although I hope you didn't use that Goldfinger quote because you agree with it :p

81. Beauty and the Beast (1991)
https://catholickungfu.files.wordpress.com/2010/11/beauty_and_the_beast_3.png
"Once upon a time, in a faraway land, a young prince lived in a shining castle. Although he had everything his heart desired, the prince was spoiled, selfish, and unkind. But then, one winter's night, an old beggar woman came to the castle and offered him a single rose in return for shelter from the bitter cold. Repulsed by her haggard appearance, the prince sneered at the gift and turned the old woman away. But she warned him not to be deceived by appearances, for beauty is found within. And when he dismissed her again, the old woman's ugliness melted away to reveal a beautiful enchantress. The prince tried to apologize, but it was too late, for she had seen that there was no love in his heart. And as punishment, she transformed him into a hideous beast and placed a powerful spell on the castle and all who lived there. Ashamed of his monstrous form, the beast concealed himself inside his castle, with a magic mirror as his only window to the outside world. The rose she had offered was truly an enchanted rose, which would bloom until his 21st year. If he could learn to love another, and earn her love in return by the time the last petal fell, then the spell would be broken. If not, he would be doomed to remain a beast for all time. As the years passed, he fell into despair and lost all hope. For who could ever learn to love a beast?"

Nice way to wrap up a great list of favorites:)
The Seven Samurai is the most recent addition to my own top 10.
I pretty much love all of your latest entries, but Gone With The Wind, Unforgiven, Taxi Driver,Once Upon a Time in the West,Lawrence of Arabia and both Godfathers in particular .
You have classic tastes with a little bit of flair thrown in. I have seen a lot of top 100s on here and don't comment on them because there are always a number of movies that are either ludicrously bad or not to my taste. Your list is very refined. I loved the inclusion of Blackfish. It was an inspired touch. Brilliant quote under the movie Boyhood. Finally someone who likes Linklater as much as I do. He gets very little love on this site.
