Search within a thread

is it possible to have a thingy that lets you search WITHIN a thread...like if you open a particular thread and its got 30 pages, can you do a search within that thread only??

i don't know much about how forums work or the differences between a VB and PHBB [??].....just wondering is all

You can just use theSEARCH (http://www.movieforums.net/search.php?s=) option and take your time :) which you can either use that link or go to the top right corner of the page at the drop down menu labelled "The Forums" and click search there. Hope that helps!

thanks naisy...i use search often....my query is more geared towards large threads that have lots of pages...i know you can search just a particular forum too...but y'know, i had a thought and just HAD to voice it :yup:

Technically this is possible, and I believe a hack exists for it. I'll consider installing it if I can find time; perhaps this weekend. :)
