So what does everybody think of the show so far?
I thought that it was awesome: potentially leading off the best season of the show yet I still can't believe that they got Kathy Bates on this show. She and Jassica Lange steal the whole production.
Personally, I think that they over-used Twisty the Clown. He's easily the best visual achievement of the episode (which is saying something, given the menagerie of deformed characters the show had to work with), but it really seemed like a case of "less is more." We really got all that we needed from him after his first double-murder. The rest could have been slow-rolled into the next episode or two, which would have upped the tension and mystery around the character for this episode.
