Is anybody else tuning in to see the fastest man alive's new series?

I'm pretty excited. It looks to me like it will be a lot more interesting than the awesome yet tragically monotone Arrow.

I'm pretty happy with how the first episode turned out. They provided the groundwork for any number of villains showing up and making sense in the series. The tie-in with Arrow worked pretty well and the cast was all around really solid (my favorite being the inclusion of Law and Order's Jesse Martin).

Overall, the series looks promising and I'm excited to see where they take it.

I'm enjoying it. I especially love the way both The Arrow and The Flash are both intertwined. Both the premieres of each show this season linked at certain points. Plus, there will be a crossover episode arc.

I really loved the Flash as a kid. I remember seeing bits and pieces of the old 1990 show and thinking it looked unbelievable:

Times have, uh, changed (the title character there is playing Barry's dad in the new version).

Anyway, I was super excited when I heard the Flash was going to be on Arrow (it's one of the things that spurred me to catch up on it), and I was a little disappointed when I realized it was just some setup and didn't really show him doing anything. D'oh. But I'm glad to see it spun off, and I liked the pilot episode well enough. Seems to be venturing into wackier/less realistic territory, which I'm cool with.

I definitely wonder if they can keep things going; the Flash's powers always seemed, to me, to preclude a lot of the things you'd normally have him do/fight/stop, since they're so one-dimensional and most crimes he should be able to stop without much problem. So they'll have to come up with a lot of interesting threats and challenges for him to keep things interesting. But I'm watching. :)

I'm enjoying The Flash a lot!! I just found out via Collider (http://collider.com/the-flash-the-trickster-mark-hamill/#more-375757), that Mark Hamill will be reprising his role as James Jesse (a.k.a. The Trickster). He originally played the character in two episodes of the 1990's CBS version of the show.

Mark Hamill will appear as James Jesse/The Trickster in the 17th episode of the CW's The Flash.

I just started watching The Flash (on DVDs) and I am enjoying it so far. Some of the super villains are a bit over-much but that's fine. There is also a lot of the "I'm so sorry I didn't tell you sooner" and the over-reaction to that reveal. I wanted to see more of the Earth-2 Flash, the Jay Garrick Flash, in action with his full powers but haven't seen that yet. I'm only up to season 2 (2015) so maybe there's hope . . . .

Guys! Newsbreak! It turns out that this series was based off a movie starring Ezra Miller. Dudes this is not cool, how this tv show is a fake and Grant Gustin is a rip off of Mr. Miller. Also, on a side note, in a non-sexual way, Grant has really good abs. But still a fake and a rip off.

We should probably boycott the tv show.

Yeah, reading through your post history, I'm suspecting we won't get a chance to ask what you thought of the summer movie season.....
