View Full Version : MoFo Fantasy Football 2014 - WEEK 6
I got no running backs! Ball will be out 4 weeks with a groin pull and Reggie Bush tweaked his ankle. Thankfully I have Ronnie Hillman, if Bush does end up playing Ill be ok, but feel theyll just roll with Joique Bell instead.
Gronkowski is back to full form, and Sammy Watkins has a real QB throwing to him. If Kyle Orton plays like he used to then Watkins can have a great year. I like Orton, and traded Red Rocket away for him because Cinnci has a run-first offense now. Kirk Cousins? Who knows with Cousins, but I still strongly feel he has a 2 or 3 more 30 point games left in him. RG III is the man there until someone says otherwise.
Ill be taking on a Brees-less Legion Of Boom Week 6, and wont be surprised if PW grabs Mike Glennon just to harangue me with him. You know, the QB for Tampa Bay. Undefeated since hes started.

A true champion. :yup:
Colts are on fire tonight!
Mike Glennon looks like he should be working at Office Depot or something. He does not look like a football player.
He doesnt. He just is the dorkiest looking QB Ive ever seen. Whats funny is interviews with team mates describe him as an incredibly confident, poised, and charismatic individual with leadership qualities. Then you look at him again and forget all that. Hey, Im not comparing him to Greg Maddux, but that guy looked like an accountant. I guess yanevahknow...
Wow, Mike and I both had great days yesterday; he with Luck and the Houston D, me with Foster and Johnson. Looks like they (mostly) cancel each other out compared to projection. Could be a very high combined total in this matchup.
Love my team at the moment. Could use one more RB, but who couldn't? I'm okay mixing and matching a little if it means being totally, insanely loaded at WR. :drevil:
Yeah - great start to what will turn out to be a legendary match-up! I think you have this one, but hey...any given Sunday!
Speaking of which, I need to get off my butt and update the league record books with some of the early-season results. Don't think we have anything too noteworthy yet, but still good to keep updated.
Was gonna go with Theo Riddick after getting him off waivers, then decided Antone Smith, then Bernard Pierce. So it was between Pierce & Smith, and last 15 minutes before kickoff decided to stick with my original pick in Theo.
Oh my gosh! I might have made the right call for once! Theo Riddick with a TD inside first 2 minutes of game, and has 12.10 fantasy points! :)
and THANKFULLY Yahoo got rid of that obtrusive banner at the bottom of their StatTracker. What a brutal annoyance that was.
Tampa Bay having another total first-half implosion.
Yeah. I actually thought the Bucs would give them a game. Not give them the game!
Ronnie Hillman put his big boy pants on today, and isnt doing bad against the vaunted NYJ run defense. 1st half 52 yds rushing and a catch for 5 more. With Riddick maybe establishing himself as the solid #3 when Bush is down (I got bush), and if Hillman can take Montees job, then Ill be all set. Thats only one maybe and one if, so its totally plausible :yup:
Woot, should break 160 again. Looks like my total this week and last are going to be the two highest totals for any team so far this year.
Should be first in points by a wide margin, too, though Badger will cut into some of that before the games are over. This is especially nuts because I started the year really slow, averaging like 90 points a week for the first three weeks.
My RB woes continue. 4 points combined today. Bring on 1-5.
My RB woes shouldnt have continued as Hillman & Riddick were awesome today, but Riddick got his hammy hurt again, so continue it will. Really hoping Antone Smith or Peyton Hillis break out like Superman cause if Bush is out again itll be Bernard Pierce next week. Noooo! :(
A real below the belt shot with my loss this week. I was roughly 14 points behind PW who had Gore to go on MNF, but I had Eli, Maclin, and Beckham last night. It was a sure fire win, but they got me a total of 13 points :sick::bawling::eek: He doesnt even need Gore tonight as my total was 74.84. I reeeeeeally hope this was just a fluke.
Good game, Chris! I know it's early, but is a LTIzzy/11 Angry Men rematch in the works for the bowl? ;)
You guys are both rolling!
Aye, good game; bum luck for you, putting up a total that would've won against 11 of the other 12 teams this week. But that's worth something: it's why you're at the top of the heap among five 3-3 teams for the final playoff spot right now.
Re: LT. Oof. I don't even know what to root for. Do I want vengeance, or do I want to avoid losing to her again? I'll go with vengeance: I think she's coming down to earth in the second half. Shots fired!
Yeah - I keep wondering how she is doing so well, but there it is... Her team looked terrible at the start of the year, but with so many busts and injuries, her team looks much better now. Mine...not so much.

No vengeances will be needed
Whoa, was that trash talk? ;)
It was a passive aggressive trash talk, nullifying your two trash talks with a alternate outcome, possibly insinuating himself as ultimate victor, but unwittingly is correct though it is instead I who will be ultimate victor. Yup.
