Former Atlanta Braves pitcher John Rocker

Notorious for his actions off the field more so for his accomplishments on the field. He received National attention in December 1999 when asked about playing baseball in New York and said:

I’d retire first. It’s the most hectic, nerve-racking city. Imagine having to take the 7 Train to the ballpark looking like you’re riding through Beirut next to some kid with purple hair, next to some queer with AIDS, right next to some dude who just got out of jail for the fourth time, right next to some 20-year-old mom with four kids. It’s depressing… The biggest thing I don’t like about New York are the foreigners. You can walk an entire block in Times Square and not hear anybody speaking English. Asians and Koreans and Vietnamese and Indians and Russians and Spanish people and everything up there. How the hell did they get in this country?

Natalie and Nadiya Anderson from The Amazing Race are the first Amazing Racers to compete on Survivor.

Jeremy & Val are a married couple from Boston. Vals a police officer, and Jeremy a firefighter.

If the first episode is any indicator for things to come, Jeremy is my favorite so far. Having to duel vs his wife before the two tribes could even get to their camp for the first time, brutal. Unlike Ruperrt when faced with this exact dilemna in BvsW 1, Jeremy did not fall on the sword to go to exile island. Didnt mean he didnt want to, but he was smart. Theyre there to win, and Vals salty so she'd be fine anyway.

A gay couple, Joshua Canfield, and Reed Kelly both are singer/dancers who hail from Broadway, having worked on shows such as Spider Man and Wicked. Both Josh and Reed also happen to be Christians.

Reed on the left had an awful thing happen the first episode. One of the most cringeworthy injuries the show has had happen, something getting in his eye. Actually in Reeds case he was lucky as his eye was just watering, red, and irritated. Once they got rid of the sappy branches over the shelter he was ok. Scared for a second there. I saw a Survivor when a huge black dude was on, and he quit when he got a grain of sand in his eye.

Not as exciting as Mofo Survivor: Heroes vs Villains.
