Crossovers have been occurring for quite some time. In every form from the comics (Batman/Hulk, Howard the Duck/ Spider-Man), movies (Alien vs Predator,Jason vs Freddy), and in TV (The Six Million Dollar Man/ Bionic Woman, CSI/CSI-NY and the upcoming Flash/Arrow crossover). They've become popular and kinda cool. Especially Batman vs. Superman, which has been in comic book form for over 10 years, made people so fan crazy it has thankfully become cinematic reality.

Even those that people crave for do eventually come true. For years now people have wondering what it would be like if their two favorite families the Simpsons and the Griffins would happen to collide. Well the time has come, this September 28th on Fox the epic crossover event of all time will occur. The episode entitled "The Simpsons Guy".

During this year's Comic-Con, Fox has revealed 5 minutes of that episode and you can watch it below:

both shows are basically unwatchable garbage now, but i'll probably watch out of curiosity since i'm a die-hard simpsons fan. it'll most likely suck though. the futurama crossover looks slightly more interesting at least, even though i've never really been a futurama fan.

Futurama beats them all hands down.

Best series ever.

... basically unwatchable garbage now...i'm a die-hard simpsons fan.

How can you be a die hard fan of something, and yet think it's now "unwatchable garbage"? Doesn't that make you less of a die hard fan?

i guess so, but i still adore the first 9-10 seasons with all of my heart. now it's basically a completely different show from the classic era and it's just really really bad. i was foolish enough to have watched every episode through season 24 and parts of 25 until i just couldn't take it anymore. it's still tied with arrested development for my favorite show of all time, though.

I like the Simpsons. I enjoyed it up until the movie and a bit after, but it got stale. The halloween specials are my favorite. There are though plenty ones that stand out, especially the latest lego one. But to me, The Family Guy cracks me up beyond no end. The inside jokes, the humor, the crossovers of characters from everywhere imaginable, the star wars episodes...it's nonstop hilarity is insane.
