Just for the record, I resent the fact that this match was opened and closed within less than 3 hours, and I was not given the chance to vote. It's irrelevant whether or not my votes would have made a difference. (For those of you whose songs lost, you should know that two of those matches could have ended in ties had I voted for the losing song.) :mad:

I'm almost always here during the day, but I took a few hours off the boards today because I had to go to a meeting, and I wasn't included in the match, and that's unfair. :mad:

I don't think you get it. It's not about power. It's about participation.

Think of it as a baseball team. If you're a member of a baseball team that wins the World Series, but you spent the whole season sitting on the bench, but never getting a chance to play, would you really be happy being on that team? Would you feel like you helped the team win? Would you feel like you deserved to be a part of the celebration?

The fun is in playing the game, not watching from the dugout.

And just for the record, if you close the voting on the current match now, based on my votes, that would be just as unfair to the other people who aren't online right now, and they wouldn't get a chance to vote, as well as the people who nominated the songs that get eliminated without a fair chance.

Anyways, I'm glad you like "Little Wonders." I'm not sure what your thoughts are on animation, but I highly recommend the movie that song is from - Meet the Robinsons. It's a really sweet and funny time travel adventure flick and among my personal Top 100.


I love animated movies. I have "Meet the Robinsons" on DVD, but I haven't watched it yet. (Back when it was in the theaters, I heard that it wasn't one of the better Disney movies, but I found it at a garage sale recently for 25 cents, so I bought it.)

It's a very underrated album, definitely and was groundbreaking for it's time. I love most of the songs on the album. I was more making a statement that it was not widely accepted or loved, at least in my experience of other Fleetwood Mac fans I know. But his best work in the band? That's quite a stretch.
