We could do it for one hour every week, like on a TV show, and list the episodes at the beginning of the thread with the names and links. Each episode would start with Sexy doing the opening credits.

Well, no. That's too limited.

Actually, forget I said "soap opera." Think more.... reality show.

A MoFo reality show.

You could play yourself or you could play a character.

And it would be an ongoing thread, a 24/7 thing. You could just pop in and "act."

There would be rules, like you can't really ruin another character (kill them off without their consent, that kind of thing). Just so everyone could keep playing until they want.

And if anyone barges in and goofs around with us, we can just integrate it into our show and storylines. Basically, another free for all drama thread but with no competitions or anything, like Survivor.

I like the idea of a talk show even more. It's a good way to get to know each other. There is grill a mofo, but I think this would be more casual and fun and more on the spot.

I didn't see any gore at all.

What I saw was some stupid opening involving a woman walking around her house, all scared, and I think she wound up murdered.

And I remember seeing Lecter having a therapy session with some guy.

The whole thing just seemed phony baloney and slapped together to appease people who are easy and who can get swept away with something like this kind of material quickly.

I loved the Hannibal Lecter books. I read all of them. Silence of the Lambs is my favorite, but for a long time, my favorite was Hannibal. I still love it, but I find Silence of the Lambs more enjoyable now. I wish they had had the balls to turn Hannibal into a proper movie that followed the book. I wish Jodie Foster had returned to play the part. But everyone felt the book was "wrong" and "politically incorrect" and all that. They STILL do because the TV show decided to do away with Margot Verger's original backstory and the fact that she was a bodybuilder in the book.

No plans to leave myself. I was part of another forum, Cloverfield Movie Forums, which lasted from 2008 to 2013. MovieMan8877445 is from there too. Huge part of my life, got really connected to it and still have some friends from there. MoFo is taking its place now. And I think MoFo will have longer staying power.

I guess if it that happened then I could see myself maybe not leaving but reducing my activity by a whole lot. Like if people stopped wanting to do all the extra things on here that we do and all the people I liked left. That's quite a few people, so a lot of people would have to leave.

I dont dress my age... or act my age.. (and this is not in a bad way).... its tshirt, levi jeans and brooks tennis shoes.. today I bought some black hard shoes to wear with jeans....
