Enough Said stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus (of Seinfeld fame) & James Gandolfini (of Sopranos fame who sadly died before this even came the cinema) as two divorcee parents who are stuck in a rut and do not know where they are going and what they are doing. Julia plays the suffering hip mother in very much a Gilmore Girl role way and is good friends with he daughters best friend. James plays the hopeless father who wants to be there for his daughter but cannot seem to get it right.
Enough Said is a very predictable film in the sense of most people can relate to it if you have either been divorced, the child of divorce or simply not had a very good relationship and the story is very laid out but that isn't the point of the film. It is a beautifully written and good intentioned piece looking into relationships.
8/10
*on a side note it's good to see Dreyfus doing something good as I have lost track of her since Seinfeld
