I don't know about this...we saw "The Amazing Spiderman 2"...is it more amazing than Spiderman 1? Well...it was in 3D and fairly loud, but what surprised me is that some of it was kinda slow. I think they're trying to add some substance and scripted sincere feeling in a corporate-movie sort of way, but we already know from oodles of other Spiderman movies, that Peter is a troubled superhero. Also, potential girlfriends...beware....this guy is trouble; not that he's not a nice guy but it's like getting close to a tornado...you get hit by the debris. Anyways, in case you were sitting on the edge of your seat - yes, there WILL be yet another sequel, Peter Parker will never really grow up and New York will sorta be safe with Spiderman on patrol, except for all the bad guys and supervillians who come there just to GET Spidy. It's entertaining for a couple hours, not too bad in 3D and I enjoyed it, in spite of itself.

It's a known fact that Spiderman's most crucial battle has always been with his own self. But what I like about Spiderman 2 is that Peter Parker finds a more crucial and more deciding conflict than this lying ahead of him: he is the only person who can protect his fellow New Yorkers from threatening elements that can probably wreak havoc and destroy the city. And this time the villains are more dangerous than ever, a force to reckon with. This storyline has made the entire plot all the more fascinating and considering that Andrew Garfield is always a pleasure to watch, Spiderman 2 ranks high on my list of action hero films.

I have to say, i think what i liked most about the film was their decision to go with that ending (i don't want to spoilt it for anyone that might read this without having seen the film) - they could have very easily gone a different direction to please people but i'm glad they stuck to it. Overall it was much more enjoyable than the first Amazing Spiderman but there was also a lot wrong with it storyline-wise and pacing-wise, in my opinion
