There were a few more cards I can't remember off the top of my head. But yeah, madness and flashback combined with cards that make me discard them to do direct damage and destroy your lands.

Lose this card. With the stack changes, he just isn't that good anymore. Not worth the slot, IMO. I don't think mono-red without the usual goblin suspects can work in Legacy format against the top archetypes, but it has reared its head before from time to time. Fun style to play, and sometimes it just wins. I wouldn't bank on it to win matches, though.

The deck looks slow for the format...It is a Legacy deck, yes? If it's casual, just ignore all my nonsense. Deck looks just fine for kitchen table games. It looks really fun, too! :)

How do you deal with turn two Jin-Gitaxis in Reanimator? Second turn Thalia in Maverick? A third turn natural order for Progenitus is RUG is a turn 5 auto-loss...

Swords to Plowshares alone is a big problem for your deck if you want to rely on any of your creatures... I guess you can toss a fanatic to it, but the slot would still be underused, IMO.

The goblin was actually a substitute for what I really had in it, which was an artifact that did the same thing. It's just my turn one card, or an extra on the side of a later turn, I don't sac it for the damage until I've got one or two of those double damage cards. I ignore your creatures for the most part, but can deal direct damage to creatures if I need to, I cripple your land so you can't cast high mana cards. It kills anyone on turn 5 at the latest. Usually my opponent has no mana or creatures, gets one at a time, and then I destroy it. I have a creature that you tap discard a card pay one mana and destroy a land, something like that but I couldn't find it online. I've yet to loose with this deck, but I haven't played in about three years. I've heard new sets are OP, but everyone uses the same three decks and only slight variations. So new magic sounds kinda boring to me.

I beat my friend's reanimator deck which can pump out four high powered creatures on turn one, including Platinum Angel.

My brother has some pretty awesome decks too. A merfolk deck than can generate infinite mana and deal infinite damage using tap/untap.
