Top 50 or 100 soundtracks anyone?

I've been searching and I haven't been able to find a list on here of the top film soundtracks. Music in film is something I am very interested in and I would love to do a list of the MoFo top 50 or 100. But what do you guys think? Would anyone here be willing to participate and put a list in?

When I say soundtrack I mean individual songs from the movie and not just the full soundtrack. I'll need the name if the song you are nominating along with the film it us from.

If you want to take part please send a list of 25 songs in order of your preference to my pm.

I'd certainly be interested. I'm really interested in film music as well - I believe a film can be elevated to a higher level if it has effective music.

I could probably do a list of ten or twenty or so.

Also please be very specific. Please name the soundtrack and the composer as well as the movie it is too.

It sounds fun but I'm not sure about the "name the soundtrack and the composer" part. Most of my favorite soundtracks are from various artists.

If so then the soundtrack would just be Forrest Gump (I think?)

I'll remove the need for composer but I will need name of Soundtrack but yeah in this case it would just be the Forrest Gump soundtrack.

For Example: A Clockwork Orange would be "Funeral of Queen Mary" if you just wanted the main theme.

Lord of The Rings would have many individual ones.

You should also specify whether you mean full soundtracks or individual songs.

If it's for individual songs then I'll participate. I don't anywhere near 25 soundtracks but 25 songs shouldn't be a problem. If I want to vote for a full song and a reprise of the same song should I count it as one song or two?

I've nearly finished my list. I have 25 songs now I just need to finish numbering them.
