here's the site of my favorite monthly publication of the last decade, the late, great pulp magazine. the link is to the archives section. you can scroll through all the issues at the bottom of the screen, click on a thumbnail and it will give you a list of articles and features that you can read online....i should say that the really great articles started around issue 4.7, (when alvin lu took over as editor in chief). hope you guys enjoy this as much as i did... http://www.pulp-mag.com/archives/index.shtml

here's another favorite of mine, a great wealth of columns exploring the obscure nooks and cranies of the english language, specializing in outdated, all but forgotten slang words and phrases: http://www.word-detective.com/

Here is a game that I play. It's called WeBL, and it's a boxing simulation. You create boxers and write fight plans for them, using a very simple progamming language. You can find my gym by clicking on "search" on the left, and then typing "Jeremy Barger". I have a real creative gym name..... :)

Whether I do or don't, that doesn't matter. The link is there... so you can decide. It's giving a different side of the story. A side people fail to consider.
You write it off as "crap", without even a slight hesitation in judgement. Maybe this case is indeed crap, but then again...

Every quarter has two sides... to refuse to look at one side because it's "not pretty" is ludicrous and in a sense, an act of bigotry.

State of the Nation... you're not buying into THAT crap are you. If you are, so be it. It's a free world.

Of course I write if off as a piece of crap without the slightest hesitation considering I saw the plane go in and lost several very good friends that day… and no, it was not a very pretty site…

Maybe you should check out this link

Sure it does. It speaks to your credibility and judgement.

Out of curiousity, how did you come to the conclusion that she wrote it off "without even a slight hesitation" when she posted her reply 9 days after you posted your link? Sounds like you're making an assumption.

Now you're implying BIGOTRY of people who don't buy into nonsensical conspiracy theories?

Good idea Slayton, I think I will do just the same.

I retire my scoundrel cap. Those who wish to wear it... be my guest.
If I have offended anyone with my harsh words... I apologize.
