"This film is not yet Rated" follows film director Kirby Dick as he interviews other film directors about the film board the MPAA (the Motion Picture Association of America), this is the board that can make or break a film. It can limit just about anything it sees unfit for the cinema for any reason it chooses to do so; but here is the thing, they don't have to tell anyone why they have chosen this. It is also a walled garden of secret knowledge and it makes me glad we have the BBFC (the British Board of Film Classification) here in the uk.

The film is very insightful into how film makers and directors go about having their films brought to main stream audiences - people do not have to take the ratings, but if you don't you basically will never get your film shown. If anyone is interested in film making or the process I think this a good film to watch.
