Shattered Glass tells the true story of a young reporter working for The New Republican magazine. The story begins of Glass speaking to a class in high school of what it takes to be a reporter, how you should compose pieces and what needs to be done if you want to get something published.

As the film goes on Glass is brought to you as a loveable if not a little bit paranoid but ultimately a great writer, he find some amazing stories and has a way of capturing peoples attention as well as being someone who people turn to because he is a trusted resource for stories and how they should be written. This all falls apart when it is found that one of his pieces may contain certain information is not entirely true and he faces the prospect of being fired.

I really hated Hayden Christensen in the newer Star Wars movies and when his name came on screen it jumped out at me but I was not sure why so I did a quick search on IMDb and found him, right away I thought "well well, lets see how this turns out", I could not have been more wrong. He is wonderful in this film and alongside Peter Sarsgaard, Chloë Sevigny, Rosario Dawson, Steve Zahn & Hank Azaria this is a powerhouse of a cast.

Watch it, let it engage and bring it in, watch the downfall and remember - it all happened in real life.

Families can talk about why Glass lied and why people wanted to believe him...

The thing is I am not sure that Glass saw it as lying, he seemed to really believe that what he saw happened. I am unsure of his mental state but when he kept saying "you're not mad at me are you?" and "I didn't do anything wrong", these are classic signs of someone who may be not entirely mentally adapted to certain situations.
