Anyone else watch this sitcom based on the childhood of one Adam Goldberg, who grew up during the 1980's, raised by a smothering mother and a laid back dad? Jeff Garlin (so funny on CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM) is very funny as the dad and veteran George Segal also makes all of his scenes count as the granddad.

yeah I think this show is very underrated. Hilarious, in my opinion. I kinda want to relate Adam to American Dad's Steve--similar vocal comedy.

I like that the Goldbergs makes us laugh while keeping it clean.

I don't put it up there with Curb or South Park, but it's really entertaining. As long as you dismiss the timeline and just sit back and enjoy that is.
I just watched the one where Adam starts a Highlander club, totally forgetting that Clancy Brown had appeared previously as the wood-shop teacher. Little things like that bump it for me

Hubby and I watch "The Goldbergs" every week, but it's more for the nostalgia than the show itself. It's a fun show with some good moments, but a lot of dumb stuff too.
