That Blobby hideousity was the Christmas #1 over here in 1993. Honestly, unless you saw it, you can't believe just how big the whole Blobby thing was over here. People really did either love it or hate it. I can't remember anyone who thought it was "ok", "a bit annoying" or "kinda funny". It was either hysterical or the most irritating thing you could possibly imagine. There was even a Blobby theme park! :eek: It failed, but someone thought it was enough of a goer to sink a shedload of cash into it.

If I remember correctly, this was the first sighting of Mr. Blobby. For those who don't know, Wayne Sleep was/is a famous ballet dancer over here.
