The MoFo Holiday song tournament

I saw the Christmas song tournament and was absolutely outraged, by the lack of diversity and respect for other traditions here at MoFo. Just because our site creator, Yoda, is a Christian doesn't mean the users of this site must all conform. I would prefer if Yoda would delete the Christmas song thread, but what's done is done, it's more important to look forward to a more diverse future.

So here's how the nominations work

Everyone must nominate one of each:
1. Jewish Song- e.g Hava Nagila
2. Kwanza Song- a perfect song to display diversity and show that MoFo has black pride
3. Winter Solace system song - This is as of respect to our atheist and agnostic friends who were particularly hurt by the Christmas song tournament. Since this is a highly persecuted minority you must nominate 2-4 songs in this group.
4. Chr***mas song - You may nominate 1 song for this category, the song may have no explicit mentions of Jesus, if you feel that this song may offend please put just a ring tone instrumental version.

And remember, stay festive!

If you'd actually read the Christmas Song Tournament rules, donniedarko, you'd have seen that songs for any December holiday or, indeed, any winter themed song qualified for the tournament as long as a link could be provided to a video for the song. I didn't call it a "Holiday Tournament" or put limits on how many Christmas songs could be nominated because - let's face it - the majority of the people who participate in song tournaments celebrate Christmas (including me and I'm an atheist) and in all likelihood the winning song would be a Christmas song.

In any case, the rest of us song tournament regulars have moved on and are doing a general song tournament now. Good luck getting participants for this.
