Seen Disturbia and Unforgiven. The first is a pretty decent film, I liked it a lot more than I thought I would although the ending kind of disappointed me from what I remember. I obviously love Unforgiven, great choice and one of my very favourites.
Looking forward to the rest
Disturbia is ok for what's it worth. It's like a 6.5/10
The Crow is a good film, I liked it.
Unforgiven is incredible.
Looking forward to seeing the rest.

Unforgiven=Masterpiece
The Crow is excellent and I'm surprised it didn't make the 90's list.
I thought Boiler Room and Disturbia were both very good. I would say Boiler Room is very underrated with great performances from Vin Diesel and Ben Affleck.
I haven't seen Girl, Interrupted but my wife thinks it's great so I'd probably like it.
Great start!

Law Abiding Citizen I liked more than I thought I would, although it definitely has its problems, but yeh enjoyment should be key to how you rate a film :) And Casablanca is an undoubted classic, nice to see it show up on your list, great to see a good mix of films that people will have seen/rated and those that won't appear on many other lists, it feels honest and it makes for an interesting list.

Serenity and Casablanca are awesome! Great picks. Law Abiding Citizen was mediocre though.

Me likey these:
Girl, Interrupted, The Crow, Unforgiven, Urban Legend and Casablanca. From what I remember I quite liked Boiler Room.
Have no interest in Law Abiding Citizen or Serenity. I remember muddling my way through The Grudge once and not being even slightly impressed. Just bored. I can't remember a thing about it.
I'm not sure about Disturbia. I've not seen it, but I think it might be interesting enough in a brainless, generic Hollywood teen version of a classic kind of way. :D
Bring on the next set.

Absolutely. But my point still stands.
My views on Heat and Silence are pretty well know, I think. Taken I've no interest in at all. I don't know The Grind, while I can't remember if I finished The Stand or not. I don't usually care for King, so I probably just forgot about it.
Best set yet. You have a very diverse and unique list so far.

Always wanted to see GIRL, INTERRUPTED, so thanks for the reminder. :) As for the rest, I'll rate the ones I've seen out of four:
97. THE CROW: ***1/4 Liked this when I saw it, but director Alex Proyas went on to greater things with DARK CITY.
96. UNFORGIVEN: **** One of Eastwood's best and my favourite western.
91. CASABLANCA: **** Nothing wrong with this one!
90. THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS: *1/2 If I had to pick the most overrated movie of all time, this would be it. Hopkins gave a (then) uncharacteristically hammy performance, but Foster was good.
89. HEAT: **** One of my favourite films of the '90's, with DeNiro and Pacino in peak form.

OK, I'd + rep you solely for The Warriors, but you've thrown From Dusk Till Dawn in there, too, so it's even better. I've not seen Thor or Mortal Combat and I have no desire to see either. I was a little interested in Thor, but then someone told me that Kat Dennings is barely in it, so I didn't bother. Now, if she's been bare in it, that's be a whole other thing. ;) Mystic River's OK, I just don't love it at all and don't really understand the love-in that the film often seems to provoke.

I hope you change your mind, cricket. I have yet to. I think I've seen three different versions and I'm yet to be anything other than bored. Sadly, my g/f wants to see it at some point, so I'm going to put myself through it again.
Not much to say about the last set. I've not seen The Basketball Diaries for about 17 years, while I half watched Red Eye once, but couldn't get into it. Man Of Steel and Invincible I have no interest in. I liked the original Spiderman film, but really didn't like the sequel. Therefore, it's possible I might like The Amazing Spiderman, but I'm not too bothered about finding out.

Not sure if serious?
Hunger Games is totally spoiled by making it a 12A or whatever, no proper violence/gore and the way the games themselves are conducted are verging on TOTALLY RETARDED! Half the cast is wiped out in the initial rush for weapons/gear, then later we get stupid fires and dogs that seem to be created out of thin air by computer or whatever, and a ZOMG TOTALLY ****ING RETARDED scene where an injured player camouflage's himself as a rock, and even worse Catniss manages to actually find him.
I want to see proper eye gouging and disembowelment et, brutal deaths and betrayals. Hunger Games is **** for teenagers. Battle Royale is exactly what it says on the tin, a proper "Battle Royale".

Hunger Games is **** for teenagers.
I don't think Hunger Games is trying to disguise that in any way. That's the target demographic and the film is tailored to them. The source material was also aimed at teenagers.
I've not seen it, but I've heard mixed views of it. However, those who don't like it seem to cite Battle Royale as the reason they don't like it. I can understand not watching it because you'd rather watch Battle Royale again, which I have to admit is the camp I've been in since I heard it was being made, but if I do watch it one day, and I might, I don't think "not being Battle Royale" will be a reason I don't like it.
I've not seen Romper Stomper since the mid 90's, but I remember that being a good film.

Another that I hadn't seen before joining the site. I don't really know how this one slipped past me for so long. I love these types of movies and always have. The cast in this movie is perfect!

Goodfellas, City of God, Reservoir Dogs, Romper Stomper, and The Boondock Saints are all favorites of mine.
I haven't gotten into Inception yet but want to give it another go.
I liked The Impossible but not nearly as much as I hoped.
Just saw the impossible recently :yup: I found it hard to watch at times http://i827.photobucket.com/albums/zz200/pepper2010_bucket/hide.gif it was quite realistic :yup:

I wouldn't mind that. It just makes her list that much more unique. Besides, the top 10 so far has been the usual classics that are widely loved, so the final 3 will be interesting :D

Yeah but putting 2 movies you've seen once at the cinema top of your fav movies list is retarded.
Anyways, great choices Teeter so far for this top 10. One more to go (please not something lame).
I love Nolan's trilogy, and Dark Knight is somewhere in my fave 25 movies. That and Burton's Batman are the only super hero films anywhere near my top 100. I don't see another super hero film ever coming close to Dark Knight. Lightning in a bottle.

No. I mean, it's' OK, it's not a bad film or anything, but I didn't enjoy it. I probably liked Batman Begins a bit more, but I've only seen them once and when they came out, so I don't really remember much about either. The stupid looking Batmobile from Begins and Christian Bale's voice and the flying bit/sonar scene from Dark Knight, that's about all I can remember.
