I believe you. That's why certain songs aren't initially liked by someone, but then the more they hear it, the more they may like it.

However, I also think music preference (as well as movie preference) is highly influenced by your own moods and your own personal psychology. Your psyche at large. So a person could still listen to a song over and over again and still not like it.
