I actually really liked the film, although it does pander to conventional morals. I'm gonna write up a review later when I have time.

I did have to include the central dilemma in a poll though, seeing as that's what brought in the box office.

Hmmm... Now I would obviously say 'yes'. This may change when I actually have a wife, of course.
I can imagine it's extremely harsh psychologically to know that your wife slept with a rich, good looking man. It takes the purity of a relationship away. On the other hand, 1 million dollars is a lot of money and this of course offers other opportunities.

I voted for 'yes', but this opinion may change over time when I will actually have something really special with someone (not like my past relationships where I didn't care for enough to really really work on it properly).

If the question would be: Would you give 'the one' away for 1 million dollars, my answer would definitely be 'no'.

I wasn't a big fan of the film, by the way. I rated it 2.5 or something. the premise certainly is interesting, but it wasn't executed very well, in my opinion (despite the fact that I like Demi Moore and Robert Redford).

I agree that if I was in a relationship, I would think twice, but then again the point of the movie is that love conquers all.

But then the crux of the proposal is not that you get money for sleeping with an attractive person but that you get money for betraying your loving spouse.

Id say it was the same. If Jolie fancied my girlfriend and said ill give you £1 million for a night with her I'd say... Yes. Damn I'd ask if I could watch :).
