Yeah, there are some old names on there. It actually makes it clear just how crazy some of their post counts were. We actually spiked a lot in posts around the second year, I think it was, and lots of people got to 5,000 or 7,000 in just a year or two.

That was the high mark for a long time, until 2010 when we smashed all our old records, but that was more diffused. The early years saw a much higher post-per-user concentration.

This is the thing, I thought you'd have some films in mind. I think we should alternate between films we consider good, and films we consider bad.

We could always do this if we're stuck for ideas:

Edit: On a slightly more serious not, if we did a more decent film, like Django Unchained, maybe we could also combine comedy/casual comments with more serious discussion on the films and scenes, so it isn't all pointless, but is that too boring :p

Ok, a few hours earlier than usual but a handful of posts won't make any difference... numbers taken and used from 45 minutes ago.

Some changes this month... Miss Vicky as far as I can tell is the highest jumper at 19 places from 45th to 26th due to 2008 posts. Which also puts her in 2nd place when it comes to actual post count.

Sexy Celebrity is again this month's highest poster at 4053 posts and managed to jump from 8th to 5th place.

Some anomalies this month, some members' posts actually went down by 3 or 4 posts?!?! Maybe deleted threads or posts, not sure, but I'm positive I got the counts right last month.
The members whose post count dropped were people I haven't seen online this month, so regular posters have nothing lost. So all is good.

Godoggo is new to the Top 50!!

Miss Vicky hasn't taken the Honours this time. Normally she gets Highest Poster and Highest Jumper at the same time... MV has gone up 2 places though.

This Top 50 is kind of a self praising egotistical thread really, but one thing I've noticed since taking the numbers over the past 6 months...

Looking at numbers... the posts have gone up by 500 in the last 6 months to get into the Top 50...

It was 3500, and now we're looking at a minimum 4000 approx.


Along with Yoda's numbers about this year being one of the heaviest years for post counts, I've seen that we don't just have a select number of MoFos that are posting and visiting regularly, and inadvertently staying in the Top 50...

... but I've also noticed a number of members who aren't in the Top 50 yet, and were nowhere near the Top 50 6 months ago when I started taking the counts, who are now approaching that post count even though the minimum is still going up.

Basically I've noticed that we have newer MoFos who are contributing to the site in a major way and getting the overall post count up and are adding more and more opinions and information to the site and making Movie Forums possibly the best Forum I've been on.

I've DOUBLED my post count since this started back in July 2013. More than doubled. And that's major because when Rodent first took a count on July 6, 2013, I had 13,007 posts.

As of this post, I now have 26,464 posts.

It took me 11 years to get to 13,000 posts, and I doubled that in six months. Mainly cause of the movie commentaries.

And I don't even hang onto all of my posts -- sometimes I delete them.
