Child's Play is a fun movie that I enjoyed seeing again after many years. My brother and I used to watch this over and over as kids. What do you do as a voodoo practitioner/serial killer who is mortally wounded in a toy store? Transfer your soul to a doll, of course! The acting by Alex Vincent (Andy) is probably THE worst acting I have ever seen. I have not watched the sequel for the sole reason that this kid is in it again. Not only are his line deliveries atrocious, he is the most clumsy actor maybe EVER. Some of the special effects with the doll are clearly just a kid. But others are fantastic! When they get it right with the doll, he is scary as heck. Chucky's voice (Brad Dourif) is really good and fits perfectly. Overall, a really fun and creepy movie worth watching.

With each passing film they realized how goofy the concept was and went straight for the laughs. The creepiness is there when the doll looks friendly. So with each passing entry I got less invested and the laughs weren't that great.
