Keeping up with posts and threads

Hi, I'm new on the site and I was wondering if there was a way to be notified (through e-mail most likely) about posts being added to that I commented on or new messages I may receive through my profile other than just logging on to the site. I joined last night and reading through the forum I must say I feel like I've truly found my people, loving it.

Yep. On the Post Reply page, there's a checkbox that allows you to subscribe to the thread. It'll email you when there's a response. You can subscribe without replying under the Tools menu at the top of each thread page. It'll notify you once, until you visit the site, and then notify you again. You can unsubscribe from any thread (or all threads at once) at any time.

There's also an option in the My Profile area (under Settings) to receive an email if anyone sends you a PM.

You can subscribe to the threads you are interested in and really want to follow (In the right upper corner of the topic: Tools -> Subscribe to thread). In that way you wil be notified if there is a new post in that particular thread.
