Well, at least you have Sabbath, Bloody Sabbath. There's still hope. :p

I say there's still hope, I've probably not heard of 90% of that music, so I'll just shut up. :D

Thumbs up for Buckingham Nicks, but it seems to me you don't have any real interest in solo Buckingham, solo Nicks, or Fleetwood Mac.

Is this just my perception or is there something you find great about the Buckingham Nicks album that is lacking in their other work?

I love Fleetwood Mac, Nicks and Buckigham. But this particular album is my favorite. Maybe beacause of "Frozen Love"
I love one-album bands, I don't know why

Okay. Just my perception is off. Frozen Love is a great song, though my favorite is Without A Leg To Stand On.

I think you meant to put Devendra's Rejoicing in Their Hands in there, but you got confused and accidentally posted a gruesomely inferior album of his.

It happens.

yeah, probably. but I like Nino Rojo more.

I feel like Rejoicing in the Hands was so good because it was the first album. The last ones, like Nino Rojo, were solid releases, but Devendra didn't particularly reach any heights that came close to RitH. And the production of RitH truly lent a familiar sense of earthy psychedelia via the lo-fi aesthetic that the later albums did well replicating, but did little to progress.

Still a good artist all around, though, admittedly, I haven't listened to him in a long while.

He's the first so-called folk singer I loved. especially when he had his long hair and beard.
now I'm just praying that 'Mala' will be better than any record he released

Based on his career projectory and my personal opinion, I feel like that expectation has 0% chance of being true. Unfortunately.

Maybe try Mount Eerie or the Microphones sometimes. Though there are definitely more than just folk influences in those projects, though the lo-fi aesthetic is still present.

I second Mt. Eerie and The Microphones (same dude). You need to start your musical rabbit hole somewhere, n'est pas?

The musical rabbit hole is brutal and endless.

You start with outsider folk or alternative and BAM! It's three years later and you're listening wall noise and lowercase.

Not that that's a bad thing.

I started listen to the music with Eminem, and here I am. Musical Rabbit Hole is great :)
