Be a bit longer until we hit that mark in posts alone, but it's getting there. Not too shabby, MoFos.

Member numbers are a big clustersomething. Really hard to say how many are legit. We do a good job but most of our efforts are focused at preventing the spam itself, which is a lot easier to block than the registrations.

There's even more if you count unconfirmed accounts. And we've pruned a bunch. Speaking of which, we're probably due for some more! :)

I'd like to start using the mailing list more, so we'll probably be doing something on that front; some kind of double opt-in, or more pruning, or both.

Be interesting to get every single member to post their 29... that'd knock the post count right up... it'd be as high as like... hundreds, or something.

It's just run through the forum. Which is a little clunky; ideally it'd be run through a third-party service, though that means divorcing it from the registration process, or else having two confirmations or something terrible like that. Not a great situation to be in. But manageable if we can get better at excluding the junk and the people who aren't all that interested.

I'm on a couple of other sites that have a page that shows Top 20 Members With Highest Posts, Top 20 Threads With Most Replies, Top 20 Threads With Most Views, New Members Joined Today etc etc...

Aye. It's a fine idea. A few things would be precluded simply by being too slow/intensive, but we can do that. It's on a list of fine ideas that I was waiting on, but a few things have happened recently that have changed some of those long-term plans, so I'm looking at a lot of this stuff again. Gotta sit and have a big ol' think about what to do this year.

I think it'd be cool to see the highest repped post per thread, by clicking something. But I believe that you said before that there was something like that, that slowed the system.

Yeah, there was a page that had all the highest repped posts of all time, and it was just ridiculously intensive. We've got over 300,000 post ratings in the database, and it's always going to be hard to sort through all that data.

Teenagers will get a four part series with the titles:
1.) Millenium
2.) Predicktion
3.) The Six
4.) Final Two

It's about psychics and vampires and stuff - all taking place at Movie Forums.

There will also be coloring books and cookbooks, Braille editions for the blind, scratch and sniff and pop-up editions, Kindle editions of course, also game editions such as word finds, crossword puzzles, Sudoku, you name it! :)
