View Full Version : Smiles and VB code
I think that it would be better to have the link to Smilies and VB Code on the same page as the Posting box. If I'm looking to use a new smilie that I'm not familiar with, or I'm not sure about some VB code, it's a bit of a chore to go to the FAQ and look through it there. Also, people might not be aware that it's in the FAQ, and wouldn't bother.
JMHO :) (I know that one off by heart ;)).

I think it's the best suggestion I've heard so far!! I've looked at the FAQ a few times, but I can never seem to remember the codes when I need them, and I can hardly be bothered to open it in a new window and wait...
Chris, I think you should definitely look into this one!
Yay! Someone liked my idea! :)
Only took me 6 days to implement it, too. :D Sorry for the delay! Even used it on another forum I help run. Good idea Ollie.

Believe it or not, I just realised right now after reading your post Commish that you had put the thing up ;)
Good work!
I thought it was automatically like that with vBulletin?
It is sometimes - it puts forum rules and links there - I took them down to help reduce clutter - which is a major thing here. No clutter! I remove a lot of the things if I can.

Do we have an Evil Grin smiley? Can we?
Maybe in place of  I've never seen anyone use that one.
Try this site (I think that's the right URL...):

If you find any that arn't really huge that you like, post the direct links here and I'll look them over. :)

I tried the link Chris, it didn't work for some reason?! Maybe they took the page off...?
