In a couple of weeks I'll be getting together what the rules for nominating will be. I'm looking forward to another tournament and hopefully there will be quite a it of participation yet again. The basics will stay the same: 128 movies fighting for the MOFO championship. To begin we will have the same timeframe of a month to vote on the matchups so that people are able to possibly see films they may have an interest in.

Just thought I'd get the thread started so that we will be ready to roll with the nominations, possibly as early as a bit before New Year's. Thanks to all and looking forward to it.

I'm in... where does the list of films come from?

As in the past 2, everyone will be able to nominate. I'll list the restrictions of the nominees near the end of the month. It won't be restricted much, but obviously restricted a bit for the fact that we don't want the same movies.

Righto, I wasn't on the site when the others were done so never done it before.

Have the top 10 films honored at least, instead of picking ONE winner.

This leaves out a bunch of solid films, but plenty to choose from yet. Also gives the possibilitity of a 2nd chance for some films that just had downright bad luck.

Ok, it's my first one of these and I'm still confused :o ...

... obviously the films above can't go in, but which films are chosen to go into the draws? Do we give a list of our 10/20/30 favourites or are they movies that are taken from some other list that we then vote for?

You'll get to nom two films at a time. You can name any you want except from the list above. Don't worry, it'll be easy once we start; raul makes it all work out.

When do we start nominating?

What about now?

We will start in the next couple days to be sure. I'll try to possibly alphabetize the list above to make it a bit simpler that nobody nominates one of them.

And Rodent, you can pretty much nominate anything you would like except for the list above as mark stated.
