Just finished watching season 1 of Luck. Great TV series about horse racing. Dustin Hoffman is spot on for the main role.

It has indeed been cancelled after one series due to the amount of horses dying.

That's a shame. I wonder who the technical advisor on the set was. Seems like they rode the horses too hard and didn't give them enough time to recoup. In regular horse racing they have ample time and one does not see too many horses dying in a relatively short span of time.
