Is everyone alive out there? Got all your fingers and toes?!
Since our Fantasy Football season decided to spit into the eyes of sense, seems its been hard to get excited around here. Yoda for the first time is out of the playoffs, Sedais out, PWs almost out, Adam & Lisa are cackling with glee, Dex has completely disappeared, and raul managed to win some games.
Predictions?! Nah. I just hope to beat Sleezys Wild Stallions. Dustin Keller & Alfred Morris both got me a respectable 17.50 points each, but Sleezys Patriots, I hate the Patriots, embarrased the Jets and Sleezys D got 25 pts, Welker 20, and Witten got 16.40. Our matchups started hot, and I feel this could go either way.
Btw, how bout that Doug Martin guy?!

Why this week of all weeks does Amendola have to prove hes a stud?! On one leg hes gonna play today, and I thought for a second Sleezy was gonna give me a blank slot. Im sure he'll get 20 points for him. :facepalm:
Eh, looks like he's out this game. I didn't even think to check yesterday. Wish I had slotted Tate or Sproles. I still feel good about Rodgers @NYG, though.

Well Danny Amendola only got 1 catch for 38 yards making Sleezys score 116.80 to my 118. All thats left of our matchup is he has Aaron Rodgers tonight against my New York Giant defense. help!

Great game tonight. Aaron Rodgers started strong and then its been all Giants defense since. At halftime Im ahead of Sleezy 129 to 125.78.
1 point game between Chris and I. Yikes, I can't watch.

Not that it would have mattered, but I am 100% sure I slotted Fitz and Finley and somehow i have 2 open spots?
Probably didn't click submit. Or it wanted you to login again after submitting and maybe you didn't notice. Those are the most common reasons, at least.
Initial score shows me just short (not that it matters much to my season, at this point), but it also shows Wallace with zero, and the box scores have him with one catch for nine yards. So that scoring correction looks reasonably likely to make the difference. Guess we'll see.
Manning was the play this week, but it won't matter! Take that, Petey! ;)

Meanwhile, Yahoo did indeed get the Wallace catch on there, so I might edge this one out, but a scoring correction the other way could flip it, too. We'll see in a few days.
It's a pretty good metaphor for my season that the other dude scores 98 points and I somehow struggle to maybe eke out a victory, though. Eegads.
On the bright side, I lost Andre Brown for the year, too. SWEET!
When youre ahead of your opponent by 1.20 points, alls you got left to play is your Giants defense, and your opponent has Danny Amendola & Aaron Rodgers yet to go, its safe to assume youll lose.
I ended up beating Sleezy by 1.24 points. My season pretty much has been going this way all along. Alot of great breaks, couple good trades, and waiver pickups at the right times. It happens :) Not professing a greater grasp of FFB than anyone, but just enjoying the ride. It doesnt last forever. :nope:
Congrats to Lisa, Tongs, and Petey for clinching playoff spots this year!
Meanwhile, I am heading back to my giant pillow, into which I cry....
I'll congratulate them in a few weeks, when I'm not so bitter. :D
