Who will join Kubricks 2001: A Space Odyssey and Finchers Se7en into the director best film winners? First there is the comedy from acclaimed director and writer John Hughes. While it was competing locally it defeated Sixteen Candles, Ferris Buellers Day off, and Uncle Buck. In the final winners it went on to defeat Paynes Sideways and De Palmas Carrie. Then there is Sin City from Rodriguez. First it defeated Machete, than went on to beat Desparado and Planet Terror. So it did not have it easy getting into the semi finals. It then beat Burtons Beetle Juice and to get here it went through Fellinis La Dolce Vita. Here's the finale, which ends on the 24th of this October
