Is there a movie about the Langoliers, or just a mini-serie?
Or is it a TV-movie??? What is it actually?
Has it been published on VHS?

It's a TV-movie. Search for it on Amazon.com. :)

I really like the story, but the movie isn't realy that great. And the special effects at the end is just laughable.

do you mean the bit when you see them all eating up the world? lol thats funny.

i loved the movie of that...(sorry...tv-movie). yeah sure it was a bit **** acting etc but the story is still there. its cool.

like the stand. are they both stephen king? i dont remember. anyway they are both tv-movies that i enjoyed.

i want them to make geralds game into a film...havent read the book but blibblobblib says its a wicked book and i reckon if they made it good it would scare me to death. if they havent made it into a film by the time i make a film i might do it. if they let me. either that or ill just steal the ideas and pretend ive never heard of the book before in my life lol. (wouldnt really do that. id rather come up with my own ideas. everyone has to get an idea from something though right?...unless your gifted...i dont htink i am. if i was i probably would have realised by now).

better post this before the ramblings get too out of hand and incoherent.

The Langoliers in the book were scarier than those portrayed in the TV movie.

In the story they seemed to be a force of the universe that devours everything around them even spacetime itself and when they devoured the antagonist they took reality around him as well.
In the TV movie they looked like video game pac-men crossed with industrial rock grinders reacting in an premeditated manner.

Tommyknockers was also a good novel turned into a TV movie. It was ok.

I read The Stand and it was good right until the end.(then it infuriated me).

Kings characterizations are great and usually his story telling skills are amazing. Every once in a while he is off the mark and can destroy a good story in a moment.

I actually am a big fan of his work. So dont take my criticisms to mean I dont like it.
