Hitman Codename: 47 is a computer game made by Eidos Interactive. You play the game as a hitman for a certain group of people. I'm not sure how that came to be, I'm not that far into the game. But from what I can tell, the hitman was sort of bred, trained etc from birth, to do what he does. Or something of that nature. The opening movie implies that the killing instinct is in your blood.
But anyways back to the game itself. You are given a certain mission and are given a briefing about where people will be and picture identification of your target. You are then given an inventory of possible items you can use, and you purchase what you think will be useful. These items range from piano wire, to nightvision sniper rifles. You can buy better items once you earn money from succesful hits.
The game is a very interesting game. It adapts to how you play the game. If you start off using machine guns etc, then later on in the game the enemies will be packing more machine guns, or something better. Once you kill a person you have different options you can do. You could take their clothes or their weapons, and you can drag their body. The dragging part is extremely useful, you just have to be sure you hide the body in a pretty secluded place. And changing clothes is a very key part in performing your hit.
All in all its a great game. The controls are ok, but the attention to detail is great. From the piano wire, to the sniper which can be concealed in a briefcase. Also some of the missions in the game are based on famous movies. The Godfather bathroom scene, and some others that I haven't gotten to yet.
Be warned though. The game is very hard. Right now I'm stuck on the 4th mission. Yet again I haven't been playing for more than 5 days.
