Yesterday I saw the Iron Sky, without knowing too much about it other than it was about space nazis
After seeing it, I'm not sure how I feel about it. It got me laughing a few times. And the idea of nazis on the moon is pretty funny.
The movie itself, however, was a big mash-up of whatever the writers could think of. A black man turned white by the nazis, a predictable love affair, stereotypical jabs at politicans, a space battle that looked like a cheap version of star wars...and on top of that they tried to insert a moral at the end of the movie.
It left me with a feeling of "what the hell did I just watch :dizzy:"
Stephanie Paul does play a very convincing Sarah Palin. If the movie was meant as a critique on how the world would look like if Palin was president, then I would have to say it was genius.
