Yesterday I saw the Iron Sky, without knowing too much about it other than it was about space nazis

After seeing it, I'm not sure how I feel about it. It got me laughing a few times. And the idea of nazis on the moon is pretty funny.

The movie itself, however, was a big mash-up of whatever the writers could think of. A black man turned white by the nazis, a predictable love affair, stereotypical jabs at politicans, a space battle that looked like a cheap version of star wars...and on top of that they tried to insert a moral at the end of the movie.

It left me with a feeling of "what the hell did I just watch :dizzy:"

Stephanie Paul does play a very convincing Sarah Palin. If the movie was meant as a critique on how the world would look like if Palin was president, then I would have to say it was genius.

My feelings were the same. The script was the weakest link of the movie. The awesome computer effects and stuff has to be respected if nothing else.

I didn't think much of it at all especially after all the praise from certain circles, going to be the next cult film and so on. Disappointing.
