I love Dirty Harry! The highpoint of Eastwood's career. A couple of my friends have been constantly reminding me to see Rubber :D
Oh goody! I love having a list to go through. :D
Actually only seen two of the first two but a big fan of both - Dirty Harry and Young Frankenstein

Rubber? Really?
Ya it's not a movie most people look at that highly. I remember just last year it was in the 70s of my list. It was a very unique and original film. I don't think the goal was to scare you but to make you say "what the ****". And I did, it had a lasting effect. I mean I only saw it that once and still think about it.

Very close I'm actually 15.
Seems to be a lot either very recent films or classics. I'm assuming you're quite young?
And it's not that I think that more recent films are better but I really only got into movies in 2010, so it would make sense that most of the films I've seen are from 09-2011. While I do try to watch as many classics as possible I can't get as in depth into the full array of movies that year. Do you know what I mean? I don't have acess or even know of as many movies from 1954 as I do of 2011. So yes movies going back before the 2000s I've mainly only seen the classics.

Nice, eclectic group. Annie Hall and Black Swan are up there with my very favourites. Saving Private Ryan, Mulholland Dr, Fight Club, 12 Angry Men and The Descendants I like a great deal and Rear Window is good. Only really 2001 from what I've seen in this little set I don't like. I liked it at first but was so wrapped up in its "classicness" when I saw it I failed to see the pretentiousness.

I don't normally +rep for just one film, but I felt compelled to with this. Triangle at #12? That's right out of the HK playbook. :D:up:

Seems to be a few too many "New" films on your list. Like released the last year or two. Invalidates the list a little bit.
The likes of "True Grit", "Kings Speech", Shutter Island, whilst all good should probably be nowhere near a top 100.
I think I remember you saying you are young so haven't seen that many films.
Good list nonetheless. I will look out for the ones I ain't seen.

Alot of films on your list are great and make sense. Some however are surprisingly high. Some movies on your list no offsense, make me question your taste (brothers scream 4, machete).

I think everyone has movies that aren't rated that well.
Machete was a pretty kick ass action and I enjoyed it, I really got into it.
Personally for me Scre4m is the scariest of the franchise. if it scared me more I won't avoid it
And in the case of Brothers one of my rules is that if I cry in a movie it's automatically 5 stars. Well that's only the 2nd time it happened so for me it earned it.

nice list, suprised 12 angry men wasn't your top 10 though, id probably have it in my top 5. I need to re watch eraserhead, this first time I watched it I felt so uncomfortable yet intrigued. I really couldn't look away, such a daunting film.
