Previously called Nemesis, a new eight part spy thriller series coming to the BBC later on in the year here in the UK. Created by Frank Spotnitz who was one of the head writers on The X-Files, and from one of the companies that brought us the fantastic Spooks(another spy series, and a few episodes of Hunted will be directed by one of the directors who worked on Spooks). Believe it will be shown on a channel called Cinemax, in America.

Meet Sam. A spy. A hunter. And herself hunted by an enemy more ruthless and determined than any she’s ever known. This is a series I've been looking forwards to ever since I heard about, and especially since they cancelled Spooks after 10 series, it's nice to have a similar series back on the BBC. :D

This looks interesting, The X-Files was an interesting show, I will have my hopes up for this.

Starts in the UK on the 4th of October on BBC1 and the 19th of October in America.

I've gone right off this since I saw it trailed. Linking it to Spooks is a bad thing, for me. Still recorded it, as it stars Melissa, but I'm not confident of being there for next week.

Well, the BBC have cancelled this because it didn't get enough mainstream viewers(although, America might make a second series for Cinemax - but BBC will not pick it up to show here)... I've yet to see it and was going to get it on blu-ray but just heard that the BBC have edited yet again things out of the version shown here in the UK compared to the uncut episodes in America. Apparently, people in Britain, even though it's after the watershed, can't handle sex scenes...

I don't like things edited out, no matter how small the cuts are when one country gets the uncut and another the cut. They did this with Torchwood series 4 too.

Did anyone on here watch Hunted then?

I watched the first episode and stared with the second, but I just hate stuff that looks like that.

There will officially be a second series but made by HBO only, nothing to do with the BBC this time around. So for those who liked this series, you are getting a second series at some point.
