View Full Version : XBox 360 Question
Can someone help me out please? I need to free up some space on my 360 HDD, Ive gone through it and deleted music, gamer pics, additional profiles etc but I still need to free up space. So my question is, if I delete game saves off the HDD will that delete that games gamerscore/achievements from my overall gamerscore? We have allot of games that we dont play and probably wont play again saved on the HDD, Im just worrid that if I delete the game saves it will also delete the achievements etc. Cheers Nick

No Nick. A person's gamer score / achievements stay with the person's account forever.

Dude, try deleting some of the actual games. Also, clean out all the demos, if you have any. Demos take up a fair amount of space and you probably never play them. If did that and you still don't have space, buy a new hard drive.

Just remember, be careful what games you delete. If you delete a game and you plan on furthering getting more achievements in it, you have to play the game from the start. You can't pick up from where you left off which would be much easier.
Awesome cheers guys for the replies :up:

That's what I was thinking.
If all of that info stays with you then i'd wipe the drive through the settings available that let you do this.

Keep the saved game files and deleted the game data.
