View Full Version : Sausage Competiton Winners! :)

Ive just come back from this presentaion in our childrens school. Basically afew months back my wife entered a comp about making an olympic sausage, so she entered the comp with the idea of an Pork and Beef, Smokey BBQ and honey sausage and she won! So she had to name a school to recieve £1500 worth of kitchen equipment and we won £1000 in Asda vouchers. They come to the school to present us and the school with the winnings and to make some of the winning sausage in my sons class, which was very fun, they had my boy up helping with the sausage machine. Breaktime come and it was time to go out into the yard and let the kids and teachers have some of the winning sausages that they brought with them, they brought a big portable kitchen and made them all these sausages. I had 3 and they are stunning fairplay. We also have 24 that we brought home :D So around April time they will be available to buy from any Asda nationwide with a meat counter. Just thought Id share with you all :)

That sounds gorgeous, minus the honey for me. I shall be looking on the meat counters in April! Will they be under some title to do with the Olympics?

Basically we won a competition to design an Olympic sausage.

Ive had some of the finished sausages and they are stunning fairplay! When I find out the date of release I will let you know :)
