As always, here it is (http://www.movieforums.com/community/oscarchat.php?year=2012). We had something like three server outages, but none of them more than a few minutes. Given how many people we had involved, I'm going to call that a success.
I haven't taken formal attendance every year (or, if I have, I can't find all five years' worth), but of the three I have info on, this had more total users check in than all three, and about the same number online simultaneously. We also saw a huge spike in activity on the site in general just as the ceremony ended; 38 users online simultaneously, if memory serves, which is the highest total not tied to some fluke event (like the Simon Pegg linking).
All in all, a lot of fun. Several big surprises, and a whole lot of messed up ballots! A quick view of the 2012 Oscar Winners (http://www.movieforums.com/oscars/winners/2012.html) list shows you what percentage of MoFos got each category right, and as you can see, even in some of the major categories it ain't that pretty. Way fewer slam dunk consensus choices than in the two previous years we've been tracking the picks.
A big hats off to Fiscal, too, who won for the second consecutive year with the exact same score: 19 for 24. To see all the leaders and all the entries, check out the Oscar Leaderboard (http://www.movieforums.com/oscars/viewall.html).
