Life as a House - looking for equal drama movies

Dear movielovers :P,

Some time ago I watched ''Life as a House''' and I realy liked it, the way he improves his relation with his family before he passes away from terminal cancer. For quite some time the drama didn't realy effect me, but without noticing the characters and acting did get me into the story. Suddnely on a scene POOOF, I sat there crying like a baby.
Now I'm searching my ass off for equal like drama movies wich aren't that famous, but actualy have quite a good story like this one. It doesn't have to involve some kind of illness.

I recently watched ''Life as a House'', I think its a very underrated movie, yes i know very sentimental, and its cool to see Hayden Christensen in a non science fiction movie, or just in a good movie for once.
