i am at a loss for what to choose. i think any of these could be good if done properly. rauldc14, no offense, but you shoulda just started a thread called MOFO TOURNAMENT and been like "and this is what we're doing, NO ARGUMENT!!!!" and laid down the law of the tournament land like a manly man. you gotta be strong, man!!! you gotta be bad, bold, wiser!! hard, tough, stronger!!!

I'm not sure what to vote for either, but I don't like the idea of films not being able to be repeated. I thought there were some great films that didn't make it is far as they should have. I also watched some films for the first time that I now regret not voting for.

there are TONS of movies that got left out last time around. keep in mind that one reason people enjoy partaking in these tournaments is to watch new movies and discuss them. I think it'd be more exciting to get the opportunity to discuss a new batch of films.

I'm happy with any way it's decided. I didn't get to partake in last year's tourney since I joined September so I'm looking forwards to this 2012 one and can do it any way you guys decided. But someone should make a choice soon so we can start this number!! :)

Top 10 of each decade is done just like MOFO Top 100 was, but obviously for each decade. Where you allocate 10 points to your favorite of the decade, 9 for second favorite, so on and so on. Then everybody's totals get tallyed together.

So you've dropped the idea of 100 words per entry or are you just talking about the scoring system for the top 10?

I was just talking about the scoring system. I don't really care about the 100 words, though discussion should pretty much be a given.
