Former DJ, TV presenter and charity fundraiser Sir Jimmy Savile has died, aged 84.
Savile, who was one of the most famous names on British TV and radio in the 1960s, 70s and 80s, died on Saturday.

The last time I remember seeing Sir Jim on the telly was when he ceremonially & symbolically turned the lights out on the very last edition of Top of the Pops.

I wonder if any of 'the stories' will come out now. It'd be good to know what was real and what was rumour.

Yes, I was wondering the same thing. I was just thinking about the bloke the other day & wondering what had happened to him. He had a pretty good innings though, still I bet he would have liked to have received his telegram from the Queen. Of course, depending on who would actually be on the throne when he reached that LOL!
